So, how do you judge mood in a song? Some bands use a tone in the actual instrumentation that sounds “wintry.” but have happy lyrics. Others will have happy tone and downer lyrics. So what sets the mood, lyrics or tone? Can it be both? Also some use humor that is in actuality sad. So, music and what we like or dislike in it can be complicated. Kind of like human emotion, which music can affect in a very distinguishable way.
