“Overcast With Care”

Two pages into it, I think Dostoevsky is a genuis.

I love it when peoples reputations don’t overshadow their reality.

Forget it.

CD blanks seem to dissappear faster and faster.

It’s nice when people care enough to ask. Working at caring is exhuasting, but I know for a fact eventually I’ll build up stamina.

I smirk a lot. One time some one told me that meant I was cocky, I corrected them and said it mean I was smug. I’m not sure that is all that much better.

The gap between knowledge and understanding is well illustrated in this: People sometimes sign letters with “agape” instead of “love”. They aren’t really saying too much, “I love you like a stranger”. They mean to say, “I love you like a brother,” which would be philia. It’s no big deal, but I learned that the other day and thought it remarkable. I’ve known there was a difference between the two, but now I understand what it is. Teaching that imparts understanding is of excelling value.

I think some people are saying alot when they sign the letter “agape.” Because agape means they will love you no matter what. It means they will never give up on you and always have hope and concern for your well-being. That’s even deeper than philia because philia is based on a relationship that could end, agape never ends.

Kevin’s right…….I can’t stand it when people do that!

That’s why I prefer to use the much more ambiguous English word - Love.

Or maybe just - yours truly….

But I have been reading some very creative end-of-thankyou-card scriptures recently……like one from the book of Ruth. Who would have thought!

Hi everyone I as well would like people to visit my blog http://confidentpussycat.blogspot.com . I too find that CD’s go way too quickly, I had to switch to DVD’s myself since CD’s just don’t have the space needed to put everything like good old fashion classical music.
Again I must agree showing interest is way too much work. I my case caring is too time consuming and irritating. Not caring is a lot easier less work and just comes natural to me I think its this area that has such a negative effect on me.
Agapé is one of the funniest ways to sign a card since it could be translated as to love the unlovable, it the principle love that can be guided by good or bad. It can be very caring or extremely cold it the case of the bro. and friends it is with lots of warmth and feeling.
I sign my cards to my Christian brothers “With Philia”.
Question has anyone received a card with Eros love? And what would you think?
