Of Duels and Duets
People to whom nothing has ever happened cannot understand the unimportance of events.
T. S. Eliot
Asleep at the wheel, is not a good thing to be. Unless you sleep on one of those race car beds.
Sometimes I don’t really enjoy explaining myself. Hence my often mention dislike for the question, “What are you thinking?” Perhaps it’s because I believe those who are really interested in that will employ a little more skill and less brutality in their attempts at insight wielding inquiry. Or perhaps I am just a moody brigand.
All some people do is work. That’s amazing.
I started writing down something that happened to me some years ago. Five pages later, I’m still not done. I remember more than I remembered.
Keeping in touch is very important. Communication is vital to life. Do not isolate. I’ve always been a big fan of a Joy Division song called “Isolation”. Brilliant that Ian Curtis was. But perhaps less isolation would of yielded more life for him. Find someone who’ll listen. Now.
Practicing cursive script is very tedious. Not nearly as much “fun” as I would of hoped. But the fun part will come when I have AWESOME handwriting. Oh oh so manly. That is… Gentle-manly ahaahahah.
Two people in my family have shaved their heads recently, perhaps I shall be the third.
On a first time note, I got a parking ticket. Never expected that.

Here here to your comments on the “what are you thinking” question. I totally agree. I mean how many of us are just going to come out and say what we’re thinking….come on. This is why communication is an art. Do we make good art by just swiping a pencil across paper? No, it takes work.
Good joke Violette.
