It All Begins With a Smile
Mates of State are pretty stinking fun to listen to.
I LOVE spur of the moment.
What exactly does “raising Cain” involve anyway? Idioms are rather thought provoking at times.
Swift about hearing. Swift. Swift. Swift.
College towns seem very similar.
College hmm, college kids.
Once, I spent two weeks in Raleigh NC. College kids o’plenty. Let see, oh they worked at the Whole Foods Market. Liked to read, were into music, art etc. Most had just discovered thinking. That was very hip to them. Oh yes and the all important matter of animal rights activism. Very key. What else, beards, yup that too. I wonder how that whole trip shaped my view point on underground culture. I wasn’t impressed. I can say that with some certainty. I took that trip kind of spur of the moment. Just ordered a ticket, and left. I think there might have been a week before I left. Shocked one person in particular. How dramatic of me!
“What’s your damage Heather?”

one dictionary said this (it was off the internet so you can take it or leave it)
Mark/Brand of Cain
Cain and Abel were the sons of Adam and Eve. Cain, the elder, killed his brother out of jealousy that God seemed to favour him more. The two are therefore the archetype of brotherly discord, and Cain appears throughout literature as the personification of the original sin of murder. The mark/brand of Cain, though placed on him by God to protect him (Genesis, 4: 5), is now used to mean an identifying stigma. To RAISE CANE is to create a great disturbance, as if raising up or evoking the turbulent spirit of the first murderer.
