Thanks for the write up. I've been eye'ing this waterproof enclosure for a while and your write up was very helpful. Going to be hitting Florida again soon, and will be working in/near the water, so anything to help the camera and water work well together is welcome. :)

Thanks Matias. I haven't used that lens with it, but my guess is you will get some vignetting or dark corners on your photos. You can usually fix this a little bit in a program like lightroom or similar. Also maybe cropping them out would work. Either way I think you'd be glad you had it! Have fun in Portugal!

HI!

I've been planning about buying the exact same case and I wonder if you have any experience with fish-eye lenses with this case. I have Canon 450D with 15mm lens and I’m curious if the lens cover(tube) gets in the picture with that lens. It is like 18-20mm in normal 35mm scale, so it might make some dark corners.. Going to Portugal to surf in two weeks and wanna try it out there.

Great review BTW!

Great review! I just got mine today. Looking at the way it's set up, I can see the issue with using shorter lenses. I bet it's possible to assemble some sort of velcro strap system on it that would keep the lens port snug against a shorter lens. I'll definitely try mine out before I hack it though!
